This website is chiefly the work of Pastor and Bible Teacher, Paul Sherbird Bth: I was saved in 1988 whilst reading through the Bible and realising I was a sinner in need of salvation. The Lord Jesus met with me on 31st Dec. 1988 and I was forgiven and born again. In 1992 I went to the Emmanuel Bible College in Birkenhead and studied there for 3 years and received their Diploma of Christian Ministry. This was followed by a year at Chester College where I gained a Bachelor of Theology. Over the years I have developed a great love and desire for the truth of God's word and long to see it taught and preached in our nation, and I believe this is the greatest need of our age. Doctrinally I would class myself as a "conservative pentecostal", believing in the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit but rejecting the doctrines of the so called "faith and prosperity" churches along with the type of charismatic extravagance often seen on the "God channels". I strongly oppose the churches together/ecumenical movement as a compromise of scriptural truth and a watering down of the gospel. We are currently seeking the Lord over planting a church in Truro, Cornwall, we would love to hear from any like minded believers who would share with us in the vision and work of such an endeavour for the glory of our God and the blessing of His people.
